Zoran Dobric’s Fall 2022 collection is inspired by Odessa-born Paris avant-garde artist Sonia Delaunay. Known for her geometric painting and textile prints in the 20’s and 30’s, Delaunay’s life embodied a pioneering notion of unifying art, craft and fashion: a continuous source of influence for Zoran since first encountering her work at the Tate Modern retrospective in 2015.

Zoran’s original textile prints transcend international borders — appearing at once abstract and vaguely folkloric. The designs propose a unified, pluralistic identity against a backdrop of divisiveness that is currently sweeping the world: a multilateral futuristic folklore.

The new collection features cotton sustainably printed in Canada and raw silks, with relaxed yet sculptural silhouettes in rich, tactile, and visual textures. All pieces were ethically and sustainably made in Canada.
